Presenting the Official NBL Indigenous Round Black Game Ball, created in collaboration with Contemporary Indigenous artist Chern’ee Sutton of the Kalkadoon people. This meaningful design celebrates the National Basketball League, its clubs, players, and the passionate supporters who bring the game to life.
The artwork tells a powerful story. Coloured community symbols are linked by travelling lines, symbolising connection across the league. The orange dots surrounding the design represent each of the NBL’s ten teams. Handprints reflect the league’s commitment to community and the support it gives back to fans and players, while footprints illustrate the NBL’s journey — honouring its past, embracing the present, and moving confidently into the future.
This game ball is constructed from durable rubber designed to withstand tough conditions and high-intensity play. The detailed artwork also highlights key moments in the league’s history, tracing milestones since its inception in 1979. Finished with full-ball pebbling for enhanced grip and control, this ball delivers both performance and purpose.
